This week, 4 large manufacturing associations called on Washington to re-examine how trade regulations are affecting American manufacturing. The associations that teamed up to create this whitepaper were:

  • The Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM)

  • The Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI)

  • The North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM)

  • The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA)

The report is aimed at reducing the costs of steel and aluminum as well as semiconductor imports.
